Rise of Fascism in Britain

With the new set of laws and brutal Police shoot-to-kill policy, Tony Blair now has achieved what he and his rest of racist political allies have been craving for. Democracy is at all time low in Britain, and the London bombings are not the real motives behind the strings of hatred created by the policitians and the racist police force against muslims.

Lets hope for end of violence.

Viva Chavez!

On Tuesday, the democratically elected Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez called the United States the "most savage, cruel and murderous empire that has existed in the history of the world." after he alleged americans were using DEA (the US Drug Enforcement Agency) to spy on his country.

I just wanted to say to Chavez: You've read my mind, and thank you o' brave one!

Chavez is a staunch critic of america, and has offended american system and leaders even more since the alleged CIA backed coup against him failed. Chavez also has started to strengthen Venezuela's ties with countries such as Iran.

Lost Treasures, Lost Identity!

When america invaded the sovereign nation of Iraq, the world took to the streets marking world's biggest peace march in history to condemn Bush and his aggression towards the war-exhausted people of Iraq. The pain, the suffering, the "Shock and Awe" reminiscent of Nazi Blitz, the destruction, the blood. All for OIL. An even more painfull stab embarked the nation of Iraq following the fall of Baghdad (city of Islamic civilization, the city which was known to be the center of the world), the priceless treasures and antiques of the museum were all either destroyed or stolen by looters. A nation's identity was taken away just like that. It was to become the biggest loss of history in the world, history of Babylon, Assyria, Mesopotamia (Iraq). The U.S. army basically didn't even bother to protect them, they were too busy protecting the oil fields. The Bush administration was too busy enjoying the spoils of war and invasion. This makes me very angry and sad, while people come and go, ancient artifacts will never come back. A nations identity was lost due to american greed and mistakes.

This sort of reminds me of Iran after the revolution, when many of historical items were lost, stolen, or sold. I even heard the regime sold parts of Persepolis to foreigners. We lost so much. This leaves me in wonder how we are going to have a revolution that would not go as far as this. Chaos just invites more chaos, I am for a peacefull change no matter how aggressive the opponent is. No violent protests, no killings, no destruction by the hands of freedom seekers. Ghandi of India liberated all of the country from ruthless British imperialists by peacefull means. If he did it, why can't we?

Nuclear Iran

Have you ever stopped short and thought that Iranian nuclear program is actually good for us? Even if they are going to build a nuclear bomb. Iran can benefit a lot more than all the pessimistic views expressed on this.

Yes, if Iran makes a bomb, there is a possibility of Israeli and american strike on Iran. That's where our military might comes to contradict that scenario. Iran already has chemical and biological weapons and can deliver them via covert means or long range missiles such as the infamous Shahab 3, or maybe even the Shahab 4, which are capable of striking all of Israeli and american bases in the Middle East. So the west should watch out with what they do.

Another option the west and america has is to put even more harsher sanctions on Iran. This is where China and Russia come in. China is increasingly dependent on Iranian oil for its energy thirsty economy, and Russia wants a powerful ally in the Middle East in order to achieve its own interests. These two countries will probably veto such move on Security Council. Iran for its part might abandon its commitments to IAEA and pull out.

Iran recently announced that it will build a university for nuclear research. This will benefit those Iranians who have interests in this field and won't feel discriminated by foreign universities which distrust Iranians.

Iranians will not stop their enrichment program, and should not. It is economically smarter and more beneficial to enrich your own Uranium, since it is more expensive to buy or borrow from others. And so what if Iran is developing nuclear weapons.

The american and Israelis stress that the regime will use them once it gets them. Iran has many weapons of mass destruction, how come they are not using them now? Iran right now has the capacity to wipe out Israel. But attacking Israel is strategically stupid even the Mullahs know this. So that scenario which is being stressed by Washington will not happen either. Another excuse is that Iran will give them to terrorists. That is also stupid. Iran will not spend millions just to give them to some terrorists to blow up a city. Iran knows once this happens, america will use it as an excuse to launch its own nuclear weapons in retaliation (By brainwashing its people into thinking Iran was responsible therefore they have every right to retaliate, same crap used after 9-11).

After the revolution Ayatollah Khomeini banned Shah's nuclear program saying that it is "against Islam". But after war with Iraq, the Iranian leaders realized that there should be a WMD program so Iran would never be attacked again. Surely nuclear weapons are part of this purely defensive program. They will be built in order to scare of any foreign aggression and also bring balance of power between the Muslim countries and the state of Israel (which is well over armed with nuclear weapons). North Korean nuclear bomb just gave them a huge security insurance that america would not invade (although it is not really proven that North Korea has the bomb). Regarding that, the american administration is taking the soft approach now, and obviously would not ever invade North Korea.

So a nuclear program is economically good for Iran's advancement, and also a nuclear weapons program is good for Iran's defense for this new age of world order. Besides building unconventionaly war machince such as nuclear weapons is way cheaper than building up conventional military. Also, the war weary iranians, with a nuke weapon, might feel safer from foreign aggression, in order for them to carry out their democratic changes.

Demonization of Ahmadinejad

Washington has taken on the offensive and it is trying to demonize the Iranian president-elect in the eyes of american public and the world. Its objectives are to punish Iran with more sanctions, and isolate Iran even more.

What america is forgetting is that Iranians will never give up their independence and might even rally around Ahmadinejad to resist any temptation for regime change. Iranian mentality is, fight the aggressor first in order to defend your country, then fight the tyrant in order to get your freedom. An example is the Iran-Iraq War, when many Iranians despite their opposition to the government volunteered to go to the frontline. No country should underestimate the Iranian nationalism.

Resistance first, democracy later.

America: reason for instability in Afghanistan???

Women still suffer discrimination in the war-torn country of Afghanistan. There is high crime rate, so many kidnappings of children, who may wake up one day with out one of their kidneys. Afghanistan has a long way to go. Women specially have to fight for their rights in that impoverished country. With the news that americans want to build an airbase in eastern afghanistan has worried many, including Iran. Afghanis are obviously not happy with this, america is basically conquering their country, and now it wants a "permanent" base there. At one point an Iranian spokesman said that the base is not good for stablity. All Karzai can do is obey, since he knows america has the power to turn afghanistan upside down again. But until american forces are there, violence will continue, and with now increasing hostility against Iran, the Iranians want to make america's stay in Afghanistan as uncomfortable as possible.

Lets not forget that many Iranian agents helped americans to overthrow Taliban, one of Iran's enemy. There were many innocent casualties in america's bombing campaign, also before in the civil war. So Afghani pain runs deep, it is a matter of time Afghanis express their pain violently. A little push by Iranians might as well make that violence towards americans.

Ey Khomeini

Ayatollah Khomeini said alot of sweet and mouth-watering things which he promised were to be the pillars of the Islamic Republic. An example is that in his own words he said that women in the Islamic Republic, regarding presidential elections, would be allowed "to elect or be elected". Was he just lying to us to hijack our revolution? Or was his revolution also hijacked by others?

What ever his purpose was, history will always either regard him as a cruel dictator or a miserable failure to himself and his people.

But to me he was of both.

The Unreal Election: A real end for Islamic Revolution and american Imperialism

From the beginning, this year's election was suspiciously over-clouding the democracy movement in Iran. Hashemi Rafsanjani was the real loser of this election along with the reformists. Between Rafsanjani and Ahmadinejad, it was a win-win situation for Khamenei and his clique. It was a lose-lose situation for the women and reformists. But why Ahamdinejad?

At the last hours of the first round of election, Khamenei along with the army, made a drastic decision. At first their favourite was Qalibaf, another former army officer. But he was seen too much of a moderate, not faithful enough to the supreme leader. So, the underdog Ahmadinejad was chosen by the basij and with their muscle, he was voted into the second round. Basically vote rigging, intimidation, and many other dirty tricks, but also with the surprising help of the poor.

Rafsanjani was basically set to win the run-off. However, Khamenei, again with the help of the army, ran out of favour with Rafsanjani and conducted another of his stunts to bring the favourite "son of the revolution" to power. There are many reasons for Khamenei's turning against Rafsanjani.

Rafsanjani was seen as a threat to the leadership. He just has too much power, meaning he could have probably replaced the supreme leader by himself. He had too much wealth, and all his wealth were basically going to his own pocket. The poor astonishly notice this, even with the low turn out, ahmadinejad won. The turn out would be much lower if it wasn't for the interference of the military. The Iranian people seem to have got the message of disobedience. But regardless of that, the elections are just for show. It was in reality Khamenei's choice between Rafsanjani and Ahmadinejad. The landslide was a surprise though, showed how much Iranians hate Rafsanjani for his past. Ahamidenjad's victory, being a military man, was a calculated one with logical reasons behind it.

The militarization of the government is no coincidence. With american troops surrounding the country, it is basically a natural reaction for the government to strengthen its grip on power. The mullahs know that a united government is needed to confront the threats, not a divided one which would have been provide by Moin and perhaps by Rafsanjani. With the military in the government now, the central intelligence of the Islamic republic can now function even better against covert american and foreign operations in the country.

The harsh reality is that america apparently already has started its war against Iran through covert means. The bombs in Ahvaz, Tehran, and Zahedan were just the beginning, Surprisingly the bombings occurred in June, the month many considered it to be the beginning of the war of america against the Islamic Republic.

Basically a militant threat by the neo-conservatives and Zionists (in Israel) must be balanced by an equal militant government in Iran. That could be achieved more easily with a single government, forming a united front against the foreign threats.

Ahmadinejad now wants to bring back the revolutionary ideals to Iran. A stance which is his biggest mistake. His hardline approach against the society will provide an advantage point for the americans to justify their actions. But with the rise of the military that threat has been somewhat equally matched (given the chance that america doesn't actually invade Iran, but engages in covert warfare instead). The real problem for the regime now is the Iranian people. Economy is certainly not going to improve with ahmadinejad, because he is not an expert in economy and is basically a yes man for Khamenei, to whom where most of the money goes. The backward nostalgic stands taken by the government is a proof that the revolution is dying.

The only time nostalgia occurs is when something is gone for along time, and can not return. Bringing back the revolution is a waste of time. In hearts and minds of Iranians that revolution is long gone, and all the hardliners can do about it is just reminisce. Stepping out of reality is a mistake in this changing world, you can't go back, you must move forward. The mullahs don't seem to get this, once its done its gone, redoing the past does not work with a new generation of society. A society which does not accept old ideologies. Imagine if the people wanted to go back to the bronze age way of life, go back to paganism, go back to worshipping fire, can you see how ridiculous that sounds. It just does not work, and bringing back the revolution is a mistake, the nostalgic move is a hint that the ideology is ending or just ended. All you can do is reminisce.

The americans know that another revolution is in store. A revolution that can actually bring the will of the people into power, democracy and freedom. These are the main things Washington fears the most. Democratic and freedomist governments in Middle East mean an end to america's imperialist ambitions, much like the British empire (apparently the americans didn't get the fact that western empires fell for a reason and their backwardness into bringing back that ideology is same with the mullahs in Iran). Iraq War was a crucial move into preventing such revolution, but empire building is an old and unmodern ideology, an ideology like the Islamic Revolution, will meet its end. The more these two try to prevent movements against them, those movements just pick up pace and become more effective. They can't change their destiny. And their destiny is that the two ideologies of Islamism and Imperialism (which are out of place with modern realities) will eventually destroy themselves, or will be conquered by another revolution in Middle East (with brand new ideologies: Democracy and Freedom).
